Obituary for Buddy Oneal Privett

Buddy Oneal  Privett
Buddy Privett peacefully met his Lord and Savior on April 7, 2018 at the age of 86. He was born January 4, 1932 in Ava, Missouri. He is preceded in death by his loving wife Norma Privett. They were happily married for 56 years. His mother and father were Leonard and Luna Privett. His siblings Ronnie Privett, Howard Privett, Janet Mayfield and Juanita Hensley. He is survived by his children Michael Privett, Patricia Bousman, Russell Privett, and Suzanne Colvard, his siblings Jim Privett, David Privett, Tony Privett, Wanda Hall, Nancy Sumptur. 34 grandchildren and great grandchildren. Buddy served with 101st airborne in the Korean War. He spent most of his life working with his hands. He could fix anything. He owned a garage, worked in the shipyard, building ships. Buddy owned a trucking company he also was a welder fabricator, a great fisherman, and he enjoyed the outdoor life. He had a passion for motorcycles and vintage cars. He enjoyed making and collecting knives and woodworking. His love for animals was well known. He was a great husband and father who always took care of everyone. He will be greatly missed. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 10, 2018, 6:00-8:00pm, at Greenlawn Funeral Home North. Funeral services will be Wednesday, April 11, 2018, 1:00pm, also at Greenlawn North.
