Lorraine N.  Hall (Wagoner)
Lorraine Wagoner Hall, daughter of the late Charley and Bertha (Bridges) Wagoner, was born September 29, 1917 in the Howell county community of Hopewell, south of West Plains, MO. She departed this life on Saturday, March 17, 2018, in Republic, MO. and was 100 years, 5 months and 17 days of age.
Lorraine grew up and attended school in Howell County and was united in marriage to Edward Hall on Easter Sunday, April 1, 1934. She is preceded in death by her husband and two sons, Gerald and Charles, three brothers, Glen Lee, Oscar and Porter and one sister, Lola.
She moved with her family to Springfield, and was proud of her new city. She was employed by Heers and Lilly before becoming a cosmetologist running her own beauty shop for many years. She never met a stranger and was loved by all who came in contact with her.
She always said that the Lord allowed her to live in a house by the side of the road allowing her to view the world in passing. "We were just poor hard working people but proud to say; we left no unpaid bills. Our greatest asset was our dearly loved relatives and many friends. We were millionaires because of them. She will be dearly missed by her grandchildren, nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, March 22, 2018, in Greenlawn Funeral home North, with burial to follow, in Eastlawn cemetery. Visitation will be one hour before services from noon to 1:00 p.m.
