Geraldine Viola Morris 87, Springfield, Mo. passed away Saturday, March 17, 2018, after a long illness. She was born in Greene County, MO. on December 11, 1930, to Chester and Eunice (Manning) Holden. She was a retired cook for the Springfield Public Schools and a member of the Lutheran Church.
Geraldine was preceded in death by her husband Bernard, in 2007. She is survived by her two daughters: Brenda Moore and her husband Warren, and Debbie Kinkade and her husband, William, four grandchildren: Bethany P. Moore, Alicia Nicole Hathaway, Kelly and Joshua Kinkade, six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson, she is also survived by her two sisters: Barbara Tiedt and her husband Carl H. and Lois Shockley.
Graveside services will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 21, 2018, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. No visitation is planed, arrangements under the direction of Greenlawn Funeral Home North. In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations may be made to Season's Hospice.
