Obituary for Imojune Vera ""June"" Nease
Imojune "June" Vera Nease 94, passed away Tuesday, February 20, 2018, at Maranatha Village in Springfield, MO. June was born in Rawlins, Wyoming on June 11, 1923. She was preceded in death by her parents. June is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Susie Nease, Kansas City, Missouri; her daughter and son-in-law, Hirama and Don McCracken, Sugar Land, Texas; three grandsons, Chris (Angie) Nease, Fairway, Kansas; Greg (Ritu) McCracken, Houston, Texas; Brad (Jeni) McCracken, Danville, California; six great-grandchildren, Alex and Max Nease, Akash and Kareena McCracken, Reese and Luke McCracken; sisters: Kathleen Bobbitt, Port Neches, Texas; Flo Case, Springfield, Missouri, as well as her nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
June started work at the Lily-Tulip Cup Corporation plant in Springfield, in 1952, and retired from Lily in 1975. June loved her Lord and Church and spent many happy hours with her church family and friends. June enjoyed several hobbies but especially her puzzles. Her favorite pastime was taking care of her dogs.
Visitation will be on Sunday, February 25, 2018 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Greenlawn Funeral Home North. Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 26, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. at Greenlawn Funeral Home North, with burial to follow, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Special thanks to Will Bowers and Marilyn Ulrey for their love and care of June.
