Obituary for Leonard Lee Harris
Leonard Lee Harris, age 93, passed away Feb. 6, 2018. He was born June 13, 1925 in Harrison, Arkansas to J.J. and Helen Harris. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, and his wife of 41 years, Jo Anne Harris. He is survived by his son, Mike Harris and wife, Sue of Springfield, grandkids; Anthony and wife Vicki, Michael, Alisha, Liz and husband Josh, and Marc, 11 great-grandkids, 2 nieces, 1 nephew, and many extended family and friends. Leonard served during WW II in the Philippines and received a purple heart. He was an active member of the Shrine. He was a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He will be truly missed, and any donations can be given to the Shriners. There will be a graveside service on Friday, February 16, 2018, 1:00pm, at Missouri Veterans Cemetery. He will be laid to rest with full military honors.
