Obituary for Timothy William Mallard
Timothy W. Mallard, age 39, of Springfield passed away Monday, January 29th, 2018 .
Tim was born March 19, 1978 in Springfield, Missouri to Timothy C. and Joyce Mallard. He was a graduate of Forsyth High School, achieved the rank of Eagle Scout and was a member of The Order of the Arrow. Tim served as a medic in the United States Army and was Honorably Discharged May 13, 2000. He received his Bachelors of Science Degree from the University Of Texas, El Paso. Tim used his degree to become a laboratory scientist for the Veterans Administration.
Survivors include his wife, Angela Shelton Mallard; two step-sons, Dustin and Benjy Shelton; parents,Tim and Joyce Mallard, Springfield; sisters, Sharon McQuilliam and husband John, Gardiner, Montana, and Sheryl Mallard, Springfield; and a host of family and friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Floyd and Doris Cline and paternal grandparents, William Roy and Opal Cleo Mallard.
A celebration of Tim's life will be at 6:00 pm, Monday, February 5, 2018 at Faith Baptist Church, 2920 West Nichols, Springfield, Mo. The family will receive friends from 5-6 pm at the church. Private interment will be at Missouri Veterans Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Veterans Administration.
