Mary Lou  Cross (Long)
Mary Lou Cross passed from this life January 31, 2018. She was 83 years old. She was born March 25, 1935 in Seward Nebraska, to Virgil Long and Helen (Elfritz) Long. She grew up on a farm near Rogersville Missouri where she graduated from high school in 1953. In 1955 she married Reverend Charles Cross, a traveling Pentecostal evangelist. She was an effective Bible teacher and pastor she also became a licensed minister in the Pentecostal Church of God. Together they evangelized and itinerated across the country and served as Pastor of several churches including: Rudy Arkansas, Mena Arkansas, Blytheville Arkansas, Newport Arkansas and West Grand PCG in Springfield , MO. Her husband Charles preceded her in death in 2016. Mary Lou is survived by their two children; Pamela Keller and Gregory Cross and three grand children; Kimberly Keller, Christopher Keller and Katelyn Cross. She is also survived by 6 Brothers; Norman Long, Don Long, Bill Long, Jerry Long, Leroy Long and Darrell Long and 2 Sisters; Lola Dickens and Carolyn Hufft. She is preceded on death by her husband, both parents, 3 Brothers; Leon Long, Jim Long and Paul Long and 2 sisters; Christine Harris and Betty Lock. Visitation will be Friday, February 9, 2018 6:00-8:00 pm at Greenlawn Funeral Home North. The funeral will be Saturday, February 10th, 2018, 11:00 am at Trinity Pentecostal Church, 530 Miller Ave, Springfield, Missouri, 65802. Interment will follow at Slagle cemetery.
