Funeral services for Gerald Allen Brockman age 78 of Branson, Missouri will be held at 7:00 PM, Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at Greenlawn Funeral Home in Branson with a visitation to be from 6:30 until service time. Burial will be at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at Sunset Hill Cemetery in Warrensburg, Missouri.

He passed away on January 25, 2018 in Branson, Missouri.

Gerald was born on November 21, 1939 in Warrensburg, Missouri the son of Robert Rice and Lula Marie Bethel Brockman. He graduated from Warrensburg High School in 1957 and attended and graduated with a Master’s Degree from Central Missouri State University. He was an Industrial Arts Teacher at Knob Noster, Missouri where he was employed for 26 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy where he served four years and was stationed in Guam and Alaska. He was a member of the RLDS Church. He was also a member of the R.O.M.E.O’s of Branson. He and his wife moved to Branson after his retirement so that they could spend more time with their daughters and grandkids. He enjoyed woodworking, painting and being a handyman and spending time with his grandson, Brock. He also enjoyed going to the Rec Plex to exercise.

Survivors are his wife; Doyne McAlister Brockman of the home. Two daughters: Jill Sigman (Chad) of Republic, Missouri and Tracie Phillips (Ed) of Branson, Missouri, four grandchildren, McKae Geromini, Jozie Geromini, Brock Phillips and Bree Phillips. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and two sisters.
