Obituary for Johnna Ann Blevins
Johnna Ann Blevins, age 66, of Springfield, MO, passed away January 25, 2018. She was born March 6, 1951, the daughter of John Parker and Marie (Ryan) Epperson.
Johnna never met a stranger. Her beautiful smile and kind heart attracted everyone she met. Johnna loved her job as a bus aide with Springfield Public Schools. She was a dedicated employee for over 20 years of service. She adored all the children she had on the bus, and was fond of everyone she worked with. She was a member of Cherry Street Baptist Church, where she chose to follow Christ at a young age. She was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.
She was preceded in death by her dad, John Parker, her step-mother Naomi Parker, her second dad Dan Epperson, her in-laws: Holland and Louise Blevins, grandparents; Lloyd and Essie Ryan and Eleanor and John Epperson, Blanche Hance and a brother Billy Wayne Owens. She is survived by her husband Gary Blevins Sr., a son Gary Blevins Jr., grandchildren: Hayden Blevins and Jordan Procter, brothers; Randy Parker and wife Harriet, Tony Epperson and wife Ann and Danny Epperson and wife Jean, sisters; Sherry Hensley and husband Brent, and Dana Noot and husband Jacob, many nieces and nephews who adored her, plus many other family members and friends.
Graveside services were held Monday, January 29, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Robberson Prairie Cemetery. Visitation was on Sunday, January 28, 2018 from 2:00 – 4:00 PM at Greenlawn Funeral Home North.
