Obituary for Helen L. Larned
Helen L. Larned, 85, Branson, Missouri departed this life Monday, January 22, 2018 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.
She was born September 6, 1932 at Cleveland, Ohio to Otto Herman and Anna (Spitznagel) Lange.
Helen’s greatest loves were her grandchildren and little ones. She had a special fondness for stray animals and pets who were often in her care. Helen’s love of drawing carried over from hobby to and employment position late in life in Branson at Silver Dollar City where she was a talented calligrapher as well.
Immediate survivors include her daughters, Sheree Murray, Lauren Phibbs (spouse) Curtis, son Andrew Larned, (spouse Sally); grandchildren, Kelly, Andrew, Ashley, Jessica, Katrina, Isaac, Jonathan, Megan and David; eight great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, January 26, 2018 at Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield, Missouri under the care and direction of Greenlawn Funeral Home East.
