Mildred Lois  Baker (Harris)
Mildred Lois Baker age 98, passed away peacefully in her home, on January 21, 2018 surrounded by her loved ones.
Mildred was born March 26, 1919 in Montebello, CA. to Roy and Etta Mae Harris. In 1935 she married Thomas Floyd Baker and they enjoyed 60 years together, with 9 children.
Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband, her sons: Bob, Lonnie, and Tom Baker, her brothers: Lowell, Doyle, and Noel and her sister Retha. Also preceding her in death, were 2 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Survivors include 3 sons and their wives, Floyd Jr. and Marie, Webb City, Bill and Sharlene, Fair Grove, and Gary and Karen, Ozark. 3 Daughters and Their Husbands, Shirley and Jim Rippy, and Carolyn and Bill Lumley, Fair Grove and Donna and Dan Townsend, Joplin. Also surviving are a brother Ueal, two sisters: Marie and Lorene , 23 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
Unbounded thanks go to her caretakers, Carol Burgess and Wanda Curry and the Preferred Hospice Team.
Mildred touched many hearts during her long life and will be loved and missed deeply.
Funeral services will be at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, January 24, 2018, in Greenlawn Funeral Home North. Burial will follow, in National Cemetery, Springfield, MO. Visitation will be Tuesday evening, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
