Obituary for Donald G. Branstine

Donald G.  Branstine
Donald G. Branstine, age 92, passed away on January 21, 2018 in Springfield, Missouri. He was born on May 29, 1925 in Lawrence, Kansas. He attended Fair Grove High School, then enlisted in the U.S. Army/Air Corp and served during WWII. After he received his Honorable Discharge from the Army Air Corp he started building houses, eventually being self employed as a Building Contractor. He married Lillian Juanita Harp on June 12, 1949. He was a member of the Nazarene Church and did a lot of volunteer work for the church. He loved gardening, camping and woodworking.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Guy and Belle Branstine, sister, Doris Brake, brothers, Lloyd Branstine and Paul Branstine and son, Bruce K. Branstine. He is survived by his wife, Lillian Juanita Branstine, daughter, Dawn Woods and her husband Robert Woods, daughter-in-law, Debbie Branstine, also surviving is grandchildren and their spouses, Mindy Caldwell and Brett Caldwell , Blake Branstine and Erica Branstine, brother George Branstine, and sisters, Ruth Tracy and Joyce Ellis.
