Obituary for Pauletta Marie Kay (Toalson)

Pauletta Kay, age 76, of Houston, Texas passed away in her home on January 20, 2018. She was born on February 22, 1941. She was one of four daughters, born in Aldrich, MO to Paul and "Sweet" Marie Toalson. She was born in the front bedroom of her home that was built by her father. She and her sisters, Carolyn and Kay, sang for many churches, rodeos and other events. Pauletta attended Southwest Missouri State in Springfield, majoring in art and worked professionally as a graphic artist until retirement with Texaco.
She enjoyed an active church life, choir, gardening, her friends in the better bunch group, friends in the ladybugs, and all of her neighbors.
She is survived by her daughter, Julia Laskowski and husband Mark; son Frank Kay and wife Susie; and grandchildren Logan and Lindsay Kay.
Services will be on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at 11:00 am in Aldrich United Methodist Church with burial following in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Aldrich, MO.
