Obituary for Sherry Lee Hollingsworth (Elzey)
Sherry Lee Hollingsworth, 81, Pleasant Hope, MO. passed away January 16, 2018. She was born on August 25, 1936 in Rogers, Arkansas, to Lester Raymond and Faye Lorene (Seats) Elzey. She worked many years as a certified nurse's aide. She was a Navy veteran, serving during the time of the Cuban Missle Crisis. She was an avid reader and gardener. As a teenager, she loved being in the Civil Air Patrol.
Sherry was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers and two sisters.She is survived by two daughters: Susan Dawn Litwin and her husband Michael, and Carrie Hollingsworth and her husband Rob, her four sons: Jon Lee Hollingsworth, Timathy Hollingsworth, Jeffrey Hollingsworth, and Matt Hollingsworth and his wife, Shana, two brothers: Lane Elzey and his wife Delores, and Edward Earl Elzey, a sister: Ellen Estella Elzey, and seven grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Friday, January 19, 2018, in Greenlawn Funeral Home North. No visitation or burial is planed.
