Obituary for Louis Joseph Amato Sr.

Louis Joseph  Amato Sr.
Louis Joseph Amato Sr., 60, of Neosho, Missouri , died Sunday, January 14, 2018.
Lou was born August 8, 1957 in Elmhurst, Illinois, the son of Americo and Guadalupe.
He had one sister and three brothers. On March 16, 1974, Lou was united in marriage to Brenda Amato in Camdenton, Missouri. Together they raised two children.
He was preceeded in death by his father, Americo Amato; Father in law, David Eaton, Sister in law, Ruthie Webster Brother in Law, Ed Boze, and a Nephew, Brian Boze.
He is survived by his wife Brenda Amato;two sons, Louis Amato Jr. and his wife Angie and their two daughters Haidyn and Sydney of Carthage Missouri; Michael Amato and his wife Heather and their three children Rylee, Hadley, and Creed of Goodman Missouri; Sister, Sue Rush and family, Brother, Chuck Amato and family, Brother, Rick Amato and family, Brother, Art Amato and family, Along with several nieces, nephews and many friends.
Lou spent most of his life as a Wal-Mart manager. Lou relocated his family around 18 times throughout his 31 year career with Wal-Mart to further his career and make a better life for his family. He received numerous awards for his tremendous efforts and contributions to Wal-Mart and received manager of the year several times and even the Sam Walton award (Highest award Wal-Mart gives). Throughout his career he touched and influenced many lives and helped lay the foundation for many.
Lou had many talents, loved to play his drums and many other musical instruments. He loved to collect antiques and restore them, wrench on or fix anything that was put in front of him. He loved being around people and making them laugh. He was a very generous and giving person and would go above and beyond to help anyone. He was an awesome Husband, Father, and Grandfather who leaves a tremendous legacy.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 Saturday January 20, 2018 Carthage Nazarene Church, 2000 Grand Ave Carthage Mo. In lieu of flowers: Please make contributions to the Dystonia Foundation in memory of Lou Amato
