LeRoy Allen Varner, age 65, Springfield passed away Friday, January 12th, 2018 at Cox Medical Center South .

Allen was born August 24, 1952 in Waynesville, Mo to John Paul Varner and Martha Varner. He was united in marriage to Theresa Weatherman on December 23, 1995 in Fair Grove, MO. Allen owned and operated Allen's Roofing and Allen's Color Repair for many years. He enjoyed working on cars, and lawnmowers, and fishing. The most important thing in his life was spending time with his family.
Survivors include his loving wife of 35 years, Theresa Varner; six children, Bobby Jo Cruse, Springfield, Patricia Elaine Veach and husband Bobby, Joplin, Jareme Allen Varner and wife Kristi, Brookfield, MO, Kevin Scott Varner, Springfield, Tyrell Weatherman and wife Amy, Villa Ridge, MO, and Andrew Weatherman and wife Laura, Springfield; fifteen grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one brother, John Paul Varner, Waynesville, MO; sisters, Linda Ingram, Springfield, Kathy Alford, Springfield, Carmen Varner, of the state of Georgia, Loretta, Varner, the state of Texas, Tonya Varner, Buckhorn, MO; step-father, Earl DeVore, Stoutland, step-mother, Karen Fincher, Waynesville, and a host of family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Paul Varner and Martha DeVore; one brother, Rick Varner; sister, Marie Nations

The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm, Sunday in Greenlawn Funeral Home North. A celebration of Allen's life will be held Monday, January 15th, 2018 at 1:00 pm in Greenlawn Funeral Home North, with burial to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made in Allen's name to Silver Springs New Hope Church. Services have been entrusted to Greenlawn Funeral Home North.
