Obituary for Andrew Franklin Bishop
Andrew F. Bishop age 75 of Fair Grove Mo passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his loved ones on January 11, 2018.
Andy was born May 1, 1942 to Andrew and Marjorie Bishop. He married the love of his life Linda on August 3, 1961 and was married 51 years. Andy was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He loved sports and spending time with his family. He became a member of the Masonic Lodge in 1973. He retired from Paul Mueller’s Co. Andy and Linda operated the PPRM bingo hall for many years in Springfield.
Andy was preceded in death by his parents Andrew and Marjorie (Bishop) Longwell, wife Linda Bishop and sisters Jane Long and Karla Rogers.
Andy is survived by his children Dianna and Jeff Hoffman, Andy Bishop and Fiancée Tammy, Shelley and Jamie Crawford, Teresa and Marty Dickens, eight grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, two brothers: Lea and John Bishop and a host of family members and friends. Andy will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Visitation will be Monday, January 15, 2018 from 6-8 pm at Greenlawn Funeral Home North. Funeral service will be Tuesday, January 16, 2018, 10:00am, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
