Doris Ruth Dryer

Doris Dryer, 88, Pittsburg, died Thursday January 11, 2018 at Parkview Healthcare Facility, Bolivar, Mo.
She was born August 16th, 1929 at Napton, Missouri, the daughter of Orville Dean Moore and Celia Sanderson Moore.
She married Jack P. Dryer, December 24, 1946. They left Marshall, Missouri in 1966 moving to Pittsburg where they owned and operated Nemo Bridge Resort, a laundromat and a drive in on Lake Pomme de Terre.
Doris accepted Christ as her savior, March 24th 1954 and was a faithful member of Pomme de Terre Southern Baptist Church in Pittsburg.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack, an infant son, Michael Wayne, her parents and three brothers, Bill, O.D. and Orville Moore.
She is survived by her three children, Jim Dryer and wife Linda of Marshall, Larry Dryer of Ava and Patty Reynolds and husband David of Bolivar, four sisters, Viola Hays, Evelyn Nichols and Donna Moore of Marshall and Celia McCleskey of Independence, seven grandchildren , 11 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Service: Tuesday, January 16th at 12:00 PM with visitation beginning at 11:00AM at Pomme de Terre Southern Baptist Church in Pittsburg with Pastor Cody Stringer officiating. Arrangements are by Pitts Chapel of Bolivar.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Pomme de Terre Cemetery Fund.
