Eva Luanna  Grace (Abel)
Mrs. Eva Luanna Grace, age 98 of Springfield, MO, passed away January 1, 2018, at Glendale Gardens Care Center Springfield, MO. She was born December 14, 1919, in Polk County, MO, one of 11 children: to Fred Olin and Loah Claude (McReynolds) Abel.
Eva grew up in the Burns and Halfway, MO, areas, and graduated from Halfway High School. She was united in marriage to Clifford Grace on June 1, 1940, and to this union three sons were born. She later lived in Alhambra, San Jose, and Red Bluff, CA, and Springfield, MO. She was active in the United Methodist Church. She also enjoyed nature, friends, and her family.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 60 years Clifford Grace; a son Chuck Grace; and eight brothers and sisters.
Eva is survived by two sons: Tom Grace and his wife Susan of Scottsdale, AZ, and Bob Grace and his wife Beverly of Red Bluff, CA; seven grandchildren: Jeff Grace and wife Lisa, Todd Grace, Marc Grace, Trista Grace Forgy and husband Bob, Jessica Grace-Gallagher and husband Rich, Tyler McKenna, and Laura Grace and husband Bill Gallery; seven great grandchildren; two sisters: Lorine Taylor of Springfield, MO, and Zona Meadors of Bolivar, MO; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A memorial graveside service will be held in the spring time at a later date at the Goff Cemetery Polk County, MO. Online condolences may be made at: www.greenlawnfuneralhome.com. Arrangements have been entrusted to Pitts Chapel Bolivar, MO.
