Linda Kay Weirs (Dixon) of Springfield Missouri went peacefully to be home with her Lord on December 8th, 2017.
Linda was a 1963 graduate of Aurora High School and worked for the Gas Service Company until 1980.
Linda was preceded in death by her husband David Weirs, parents Theron and Lena Faye Dixon, brother Joe Dixon and sister Noema Hitchcock. She is survived by her brother Earl Dixon of Aurora and sisters, Norma Lee Rodgers and JoAnn Wiseley (Ron) both of Springfield Missouri.
Linda leaves behind numerous nephews and nieces who she loved unconditionally and thought of as her grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at South Side Baptist Church in Springfield, Missouri December 12th at 1:00 pm with services following at 2:00 under the care of Greenlawn Funeral Home South.
Interment will follow at Maple Park Cemetery in Aurora, Missouri.
