Obituary for Mary Louise Minemyer
Mary Louise “Lou” Minemyer 80, Springfield, MO passed away Wednesday, November 29, 2017. She was born November 17, 1937 in Cowlington, Oklahoma to Jack and Hazel Pope. Lou married Robert “Bob” Earl Minemyer on October 8, 1955 in Plains, Montana. She retired from the Missouri Department of Corrections. Lou was preceded in death her husband. She is survived by her children and their spouses: daughter, Bobbi and John Jensen, son, Tom and Rochelle Minemyer, and son, King and Bridget Minemyer. Other survivors include: 5 grandchildren, Johnny, Nate, Kelci, Nathan and Tommy, and 1 great-grandchild, Cody. Lou will be deeply missed. Graveside services will be held Saturday, December 9, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens under the care of Greenlawn Funeral Home South.
