Obituary for Henry J. "Hank" Lohman
Henry (Hank) Lohman, age 69, of Springfield passed away Tuesday, November 21st, 2017 at Mercy Hospital .
Hank was born April 15, 1948 in Long Island, NY to Henry and Agnes Lohman . He graduated from Joplin Senior High School and attended Missouri Southern State University and Missouri State University. Hank served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was united in marriage to Judy Follis on July 12, 1969, in Springfield, MO. Hank retired from C.U. as a Department Manager. Hank enjoyed playing golf, traveling, and spending time on the lake. His greatest love was spending time with his family.
Survivors include his loving wife, Judy of the home; three children, Elizabeth Golob and husband Jeremy, Castle Rock, CO, Matt Lohman, Springfield, and Rebecca Lohman, Springfield; five grandchildren, David Golob, Alexander Golob, Isabella, Golob, Luke Lohman and Kate Lohman; one brother, Robert Lohman, Arvada, CO; one sister, Lori Wright, Bailey, CO; and a host of family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
The family will receive friends from 10-11 am, Monday, November 27, 2017 at Greenlawn Funeral Home North. A celebration of Hank's life will be held Monday, November 27th, 2017 at 11:00 am in Greenlawn Funeral Home North, with burial to follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to The American Cancer Society. Funeral services have been entrusted to Greenlawn Funeral Home North.
