Obituary for Betty Lavonne Decker (Collins)
Betty Lavonne Decker peacefully passed on November 20, 2017 in Ozark Missouri at the age of 83.
Betty is survived by her loving husband, Donald Decker, children, Rod Decker of Ozark, Debbie Hedin and husband Charles of Billings, seven grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her sons James Michael Decker, Rickey Gene Decker, and Randell Allen Decker.
Betty was born on July 11th 1934 in Missouri to Clyde and Clara Collins. She married Donald Decker on October 15th 1948. The couple welcomed five children into their home and Betty set about teaching them Christian values. Her children remember her as a kind and gentle mother who encouraged them to pursue their goals.
She was an active and dedicated member of the Baptist Church.
The visitation is scheduled for November 24th 2017 from 6-8PM at Greenlawn North. A funeral is scheduled for November 25th 2017 1PM at Greenlawn North Funeral Home 3506 North National Ave Springfield, MO 65803. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Betty's life.
