Obituary for Alice O. Whitman (Renfro)
Alice O.(Renfro ) Whitman, age 70,Springfield passed away Sunday, November 12th, 2017.
Alice was born May 13, 1947 in Morrisville, Missouri to Thomas and Thelma Renfro. She was a graduate of Marion C. Early High School. She was employed for over forty years as a cashier. Alice loved to do crossword puzzles, and visit with people on the phone. She enjoyed spending time outdoors doing anything from camping to spending time on the lake. She was a member of Trinity Pentecostal Church of God, where she loved spending time with her church family.
Survivors include one son, John Whitman and wife Leslie; and a host of family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Thelma Renfro; one brother, Thomas Renfro; and one sister, Laurel Moore
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, November 16th, 2017 at 1:00 pm in Trinty Pentecostal Church of God 530 Miller Ave. Springfield, Missouri 65802, with burial to follow at Slagle Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in Alice's name to the Breast Cancer Foundation of the Ozarks.
