Condolence: I have known Jack since the 7th grade at Reed Jr. High, played football with him at old Central High and worked with him at the Springfield Fire Department. I will always think of him as a true Northsider and overall good guy.

Condolence From: Dale Nelson & Suzanne
Condolence: I first met Jack at Reed Junior High School. I knew Jack as a Reed Beaver, a Central Bulldog and a U.S. Marine. But most of all I knew him as a good friend. I remember the care and love he had for his mother and his sister. He had a happy disposition and a ready smile. My condolences to Georgia and all the family.

Condolence: I had a lot of great times with Jack over the years both at work and away from work! He was one of a kind, no doubt about it! Jack was a man of integrity and if he was your friend you had a very special guy in your corner. He will be missed by many!

Condolence: I had the pleasure of knowing Jackie from high school, he was quarter back and I was in the Kilties. He could lift your sprits with just a simple smile. I worked on the class reunion with him for many years and he made our meetings very interesting. I am so thankful I knew him and he will certainly be missed. May God be with you, Georgia and Family, my love to you...Ann

Condolence From: Mark Miller
Condolence: I knew Jack by the name "Sonny", and he was a great man. I first met him in 1986, and was taken not only by his sense of humor, but by the love and affection he had for his family. I could always trust Sonny for good advice, and I use some of his anecdotes to this day. How he loved to laugh ! He was the very definition of a good and decent and humble man, and it was a privilege to know him. My heart goes out to Georgia and all his family. Rest well, my friend. I'll miss you.

Condolence From: Jim Kellett
Condolence: Among those "Northsiders" who attended Bowerman, Reed, and Central with us, Jack will be dearly remembered. In High School days, he was quarter- back, for years he offered a smile as large as the Pizzas he served us, and through the years I looked forward to seeing him at the M.S.U. Basketball games. His old Marine pals will miss him too! Jim Kellett
