On November 7, 2017, William H. Marcink, 65, Battlefield, MO. departed this earth to be with his Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. He was born on May 7, 1952 in Brooklyn, New York, to John and Nina (Skotchdopole) Marcink.
He is preceded in death by his parents, a sister Mayna, and a brother Ronnie.
He is survived by his beautiful bride, Debra Marcink, of 42 years. He is survived by their three sons and one daughter; Paul Marcink and his wife, Kelly, of Springfield, MO., Michael Marcink of Union, MO.,
Thomas Marcink and his wife Jackie, of Columbia, Mo., and Christine Adams and her husband, Elan, of Nixa, MO. He is survived by nine grandchildren: Brayden, Taylor, Noah, Joseph, Jacob, Elias, Evelyn, Ethan, and Lydia.
William was a Chaplain at Ozark Correctional Center in Fordland, MO. He was a Chaplain with the U.S. Missions Chaplaincy department of the Assemblies of God.
He was a dedicated husband, father, and grandfather. He set an example of kindness and compassion. He set others before himself. He never met a stranger.
He walked countless people to the foot of the cross. May the impact of his passion and dedication to Jesus Christ continue not only in this generation but in generations to come.
Bill, Dad, Chap...you are loved and you will be missed.
Funeral services will be held for William at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 11, 2017, in City Reach Church. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. before services.
