Dorlis Jewell  Anderson
Dorlis Jewell Brown-Anderson, of Springfield, went to rest in the arms of her Savior on November 6, 2017.
Dorlis was born on July 21, 1929 in Bolivar, MO, a daughter of Steelman "Curtis" and Beulah Brown.
Dorlis was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a hard worker who loved working in her yard, garden, and sewing alterations for friends and family. She loved to go dancing and was a member of Dale Street Methodist Church (now known as Pathways United Methodist).
She raised one daughter, Carolyn Anderson, and worked at Heers in the bakery department, was a seamstress for Jethro's, then retired from Wal-Mart after working there approx. 30 years.
See was preceded in death by her parents, and sister Dorothy Anderson.
She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Anderson, 2 grandsons and their wives Michael and Jennifer White, Curtis and Sarah White, and 5 great grandchildren Cody White, Hope White, Karlie White, Kevin White, and Jordan White.
Funeral Services will be held at 10am, Thursday, November 9, 2017 at Greenlawn North, 3506 N National Ave, Springfield, Burial will follow in Bolivar City Cemetery, Bolivar. Visitation will be from 5pm - 7pm Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at Greenlawn North, Springfield.
