Obituary for Susan Inebnit Feltner

Ms. Susan (Susie) Margaret Inebnit Feltner of Eldon, MO passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 26, 2017 in Springfield, MO at the age of 67. Susie was born in White Plains, NY on December 12, 1949. She was the third of four children born to parents Robert and Sarah Inebnit, and moved with her older brothers Peter and James to Fort Wayne, IN in 1951, where her younger brother Andrew was born. The entire family moved to St. Petersburg, FL in 1953. She graduated from Boca Ciega High School, and it was here she met, fell in love with, and eventually married her high school sweetheart, Robert 'Rob' Feltner. They married on Jun 29, 1968 and had two children, son Randy, and daughter Robin. After visiting family in Eldon, MO on Thanksgiving 1978, Susie and Rob chose to move the family from Florida to Missouri during the summer of 1980. She enjoyed the four seasons, living and working on the farm, and she quickly immersed herself into the Eldon community. Susie became the Executive Secretary to the Eldon City Administrator in early 1981, and worked there through 1998, where she made a difference in improving the City of Eldon. She never met a stranger and had a way of making everyone feel like family. She will forever be remembered for her infectious bright smile and genuine enthusiasm
and love for her children and grandchildren and their friends and family.

She is survived by her daughter Robin Shorter (Chris), and their children Brayden, Jackson, Mason, and Emerson of Springfield, MO; and son Randall Feltner (Kristi), and their children Trenton, Aubrey, Kyleigh, and Kamryn of Peyton, CO. She is also survived by her brothers Peter Inova of Burbank, CA, James Inebnit of Waynesville, NC, and Andrew Inebnit of Tarpon Springs, FL. She will be dearly missed by many other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents Robert and Sarah Inebnit of Treasure Island, FL.

A celebration of Susie’s life will be held in St. Petersburg, FL at a later date.
