Funeral services for Jean Elizabeth Ford age 94, of Branson will be held at 2 PM, Thursday, November 2, 2017 at Greenlawn Funeral Home in Branson with Pastor Tom Willcox officiating. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery in Branson.
Jean passed away on October 27, 2017 at the Shepherd Of The Hills Living Center in Branson.
She was born on October 5, 1923 at Boston Center, Missouri the daughter of Mitchell Melton and Annie Estella Wyer Ford. She received here Masters Degree from UCLA University and had taught dancing at the University of Missouri in Columbia, S.M.S in Springfield, Mo. and Northwest Missouri State University at Maryville, Missouri. She had been a realtor at one time in Kansas City, Missouri. Jean had been a resident of Branson for the past twenty years and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Branson. She was also the author of “Fish Tails and Scales.”
She is survived by one sister, Carolyn Ford of Forsyth, Missouri. Jean was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers; Adrian Ford, Henry Ford and Albert Ford and one sister, Edna Ford Eastland.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until service time at 2:00PM at the funeral home.
