Obituary for Franklin Carl Engelking
Franklin Carl Engelking, age 86, of Strafford, MO, passed away October 16, 2017. He was born September 10, 1931 in Springfield, MO, the son of Frank and Dorothea (Hunholtz) Engelking.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one grandson Michael. He is survived by his wife Nancy Engelking of the home, five children: John, Christine, Bill, Glenna and David, ten grandchildren; Jamie, Amy, Nicky, Emily, Michael, Nancy, Lee, Jenny, Jonathon and Madison, twelve great grandchildren, one sister Carolyn Stever and her family. The family would like to thank Ashley for all of the help she provided.
Graveside services will be Thursday, October 19, 2017 at 10:30 am at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to be made to Hospice Compassus 1465 E Primrose St, Springfield, MO 65804, or to Faith Luthran Church 1517 E Valley Water Mill Rd, Springfield, MO 65803.
