Obituary for Nancy Jane Anderson (Doolittle)
Nancy Jane (Doolittle ) Anderson, age 79, Strafford passed away Friday, October 13th, 2017 at Wilson's Creek Nursing and Rehab .
Nancy was born July 21, 1938 in Springfield, Missouri to John Wilson and Syble H. Doolittle. She was a graduate of Strafford High School. She was united in marriage to Hugh T. Anderson on July 17,1959 in Strafford, MO. Nancy was one of the very first female X-Ray technicians to graduate from the Burge School of Nursing, where she graduated as Valedictorian. She was a lifetime member of the Church of Christ, where she was very active. Nancy enjoyed talking to friends and family on the phone. She loved having her kitty cats around.
Survivors include her loving four children, Lisa Engelking, Springfield, Janet M. Redden and husband Ron, Aurora, TX, Sandra E. Price, Memphis, TN, and Mark W. Anderson and wife Fayrene, Junction City, KS; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; one sister, Mary Ellen Mott and husband Preston, Terrell, TX; and a host of family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh T. Anderson, parents, John Wilson and Syble Doolittle; and one brother, Marshall Doolittle.
The family will receive friends from to 11-1, Monday, October 16, 2017 at Greenlawn Funeral Home North. Graveside services will be held Monday, October 16th, 2017 at 1:00 pm in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Springfield, MO.
