Obituary for Marie Sophie Harper (Meyer)
Marie Sophie Harper 93, Rogersville, Mo. passed away Saturday, September 30, 2017. She was born on September 17, 1924, in Deshler, Ohio, to John C. and Emma C. (Meier) Meyer. A homemaker, Marie was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church. She loved cooking and sewing.
Marie was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, her husband, Russell O'Neil Harper, and her two children; Rhonda Sue Harper and Daniel DeWitt Harper. She is survived by her six children; Karla Marie Boissenet, Reed O'Neil Harper and his wife Sonja, Janna Lee Sanford, Lorri Ann McKnight, Gene Alan Harper and his wife Nancy, and Erin LeAnn Harper, four grandchildren: Chuck, Erik, Wade & Rose, and two great-grandchildren: Leif & Paulette.
Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 4, 2017, in Greenlawn Funeral Home North. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m, before services. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
