Obituary for Connie June Pope (Swafford)

Connie June Pope 83, Springfield, Mo. passed away on September 23, 2017, in her home. She was born on March 30, 1934, in Arkansas, to James and Edwina (Richardson) Swafford. She was preceded in death by her parents and by her husband Valbert Pope, in 2007. Connie had retired from General Electric Company and she enjoyed painting and drawing.
Connie is survived by her daughter and her husband, Cherie and Tracy Norman, two grandchildren: Traeton and Cooper Norman, a half-sister, as well as many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
Graveside Services will be at 9:00 a.m. Friday, September 29, 2017, in Springfield, MO. National Cemetery. No visitation or viewing is planned.
