Obituary for Irmgard May (Gärtner)
No services are planned for Irmgard May age 78 of Springfield, Missouri formerly of Branson, Missouri. Arrangements and cremation were under the direction of Greenlawn Funeral Home of Branson.
Mrs. May passed away on September 16, 2017 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri.
She was born on June 26, 1939 in Frankfort, Germany the daughter of Georg Gärtner and Louise Henriette Lange Gärtner. She had been a resident of the area for many years and had been a beautician and also worked as a receptionist of housing rental property in Springfield.
Survivors are her children; Diana May of Kansas City, Missouri, Bob May of Eldon, Missouri, Thomas May, Michelle Youngblood (David) of Branson, seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.
Memorial contributions in her memory are suggested to the D.A.V or the Wounded Warriors.
