Corpsman First Class David Lee Miles Sr., born February 4, 1950 in Springfield, Missouri, passed away September 12, 2017 in Springfield, Missouri. David served in the United States Navy for 22 years and 6 months. He was an E-6 and served in Viet Nam. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Miles and Betty Munhollan. David is survived by his wife, Kathy Miles of Springfield, Missouri, son; David Miles Jr. and wife Jessica of Wisconsin, daughter; Maurie Miles Watson of Republic, Missouri, brothers; James Miles and Kevin Miles, both of Springfield, Missouri, sister; Connie Stever of Springfield, 2 granddaughters, 4 grandsons, 3 nephews, several great-nieces and nephews, and a host of many other family and friends. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 19, 2017, 11am-1pm, at Greenlawn Funeral Home North. A Graveside Service will follow at 2:00pm at Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Springfield, Missouri.
