Obituary for Guy Eldon "Tip" Tipton
A Memorial Service for Guy “Tip” Tipton, age 82 of Branson, MO will be held at on Friday, September 15, 2017 at 10:00 AM, at Healing River Worship Center in Walnut Shade, MO with Rev. Jim Fullerton and Rev. Rob Watson officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Greenlawn Funeral Home Branson.
He died on Thursday, September 7, 2017 at the Shepherd of the Hills Living Center in Branson.
He was born on April 6, 1935 in Ringgold, Louisiana, the son of James C. Tipton and Ada Huckaby Tipton. He was a retired school bus driver with the Branson School District.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Jeannie Tipton of Branson, MO, his daughter, Guyla Nelson of Branson, MO., a sister, Elora Morganson of TX, five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his son, James Tipton, his sister, Connie Lollar and son son-in-law, Jimmy Nelson.
