Obituary for Alice Jean Burk (Jackson)

Alice Jean Burk (Jackson)
At approximately 8:35 PM on September 6, 2017 Alice’s Heavenly father requested that Alice be escorted to her new home.
Angels gently wrapped their wings around her and sweetly escorted Alice to her new home.
In my “minds eye” I see….
Alice’s first stop was the Glass Sea, where she was received and welcomed to her new home. When she saw her Lord…she started to introduce herself to the Lord….but He put his finger to her lips and gently said…”Oh Alice, No need to let us know your name, it has been registered here many years ago, when you dedicated yourself to Me at 7 years old….and we have been waiting for your arrival.
Welcome to your new home, you have been a good and faithful servant….”

Looking over His shoulder, she saw a large group of excited people….evidently all waiting to welcome her home….ah, there was her sons, Michael David Burk & Loren Dwayne Burk, her parents, Kermit and Myrtle Jackson, her uncle Cecil Jackson (Pioneer Missionary to China), Jack’s mother and father, Rev. Andrew J. and Elizabeth Burk….and hundreds of friends, relatives that waited to welcome her….

She looks back at me, and says “Home is such a wonderful place!!!”

Alice leaves behind her husband, Jack Burk, of Springfield, Mo. Two daughters, Teresa Lynn Walker and Cheryl Ninette Ball. One Sister, Karen & Phil Lawrence, One brother, Dan and Donna Jackson…and numerous nieces and nephews.
