Lorraine Nellie  Evans (Goossen)
Lorraine Nellie Evans 94, Springfield, Mo. passed away Friday morning, August 25, 2017. She was born May 6, 1923, in Chicago, Illinois, to Martin Joseph Goossen and Bessie Elizabeth (Jaskilski) Goossen. She was a homemaker and a member of the Hickory Ridge Baptist Church. She loved crocheting, animals, and spending time with her family.
Lorraine was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Harold Evans Sr. four sisters and a brother. She is survived by her three daughters and their spouses; Sharon Marie Martin (Paul), Hazel Lorraine McQueen (Mac), and Lucy Evans, and by her son, Russell Harold Evans Jr. (Cindy), eight grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren, and a sister-in-law; Hazel McGinnis.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, August 28, 2017, in Greenlawn Funeral Home North, with burial to follow, in Schofield Cemetery, near Halfway, Mo. in Polk county. Visitation will be Sunday afternoon, from 2 to 4 p.m. in the funeral home.
