Elmer Lentz, AKA: Distructo, age 67 of Bolivar, MO, died Monday, August 21, 2017, at Citizens Memorial Hospital Bolivar, MO. He was born November 10, 1949, in Forrest City, AR, to Louis Jasper and Sarah Loise Magaline (Chainey) Lentz. He graduated from Bolivar High School Class of 69โ. He was united in marriage to Paulette Taylor November 8, 1969, and to this union three children were born.
He is preceded in death by his parents; twin grandchildren: Matthew and Corrina; one brother James Lentz; and three sisters: Patricia Lentz, Oly Fey, and Stella Keith; and an Aunt Loretta Eagan.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years Paulette โPeteโ of the home; three children: Sarah Weeks and husband Les of Bolivar, MO, Eric Lentz of Oskaloosa, KS, and Becky Montiel and husband Montie of Bolivar, MO; two grandchildren: Selena Crosswhite, and Ivy Glaze Montiel; one step grandson Scott Weeks and wife Emily; one great granddaughter Mara Crosswhite; one step great granddaughter Raelie Weeks; three brothers: Leonard Lentz and his wife Vivian of Wheatland, MO, Bennie Lentz and his wife Maria of TX, and Bobbie Lentz and his wife Jill of GA; one sister Elsie Johnson and her husband Benny of GA; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A visitation will be held one hour before services from 1:00 to 2:00 PM Friday, August 25, 2017, at Pitts Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM in the funeral home, with Pastor Lonnie Hawkins officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery Aldrich, MO.
