Alfred Ray Box, age 73 of Aldrich, MO, passed away Tuesday, August 1, 2017, in his home. He was born January 22, 1944, in St. Louis, MO, to Ralph and Lorene (Irvin) Box. He was united in marriage December 2, 1972, to Zelda Mae McGaw.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 33 years Zelda Box; and two brothers: Gerald and Edward Box.
He is survived by two sisters: Mary Rogers, and Shirley Doggett both of Florissant, MO; one brother David Box of Granite City, IL; one nephew Kenneth Box (Ana) of Wentzville, MO; two nieces: Robin Vines (Bruce) of Florissant, MO, and Sarah Box of St. Charles, MO; one great nephew Myles Haftarczyk of St. Charles, MO; one great niece Makenzie Box of St. Charles, MO; as well as many other relatives and friends.
