Funeral services for Helen Elizabeth Sievering Evans, age 94 of Branson, Missouri will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, August 7, 2017 at Greenlawn Funeral Home North in Springfield, Missouri. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.

She passed away on Thursday, August 3, 2017 at her home.

She was born on June 18, 1923 in Kansas City, Kansas the daughter of August Sievering, Sr. and Elsie Keihlack Sievering. She attended Washington High School in Kansas City. She was a retired comptroller and had been employed by Lerners in Kansas City and Sears and Heers in Springfield, Missouri. She was a member of St. John’s Church of Christ in Springfield, Missouri.

She is survived by her three children; Stanley Evans of Hollister, MO, Scott Evans and wife Barb of Dixon, MO, Christine Cadwell of Branson, MO, four sibblings; Eleanor Gonser of Amarillo, TX, August Sievering, Jr. of Mooresville, MO, Selma Williams of Estes Park, CO, Betty Evenson of Kansas City, KS, six grandchildren; Melly Evans, Randy Evans, Stacy Lawyer, Renee Thagard, Casey Evans, Lindsey Evans, two great-grandchildren; Abby Lawyer, Alayna Evans and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Harold Evans and two siblings; Alma Guffey and Dorothy Dowdle.

A visitation will be held from 1:00 pm until time of service, Monday at the funeral home.
