Harland K. Stobaugh 83, beloved son, husband, father, grandfather, great -grandfather, and uncle. He passed away on Thursday, July 27th after a short illness.
He was a police officer in Hollister, MO, a security guard, race car driver and truck driver. He was preceded by his parents, John and Helen Stobaugh, his beloved wife Sandra V. Stobaugh, his daughter Brenda Hollingsworth, and his sister Linda Nottle.
He is survived by his daughters, Sandy Huisman, Yvonne Jensen, and his son Robert Stobaugh. his grandchildren, Chris Michaud, Nicole Doiron, Crystal Roman, Jessie Stobaugh, Amanda Coon, Pamela Barnes , Robert Jensen, Rene, Alysha, Espironza Stobaugh, and Lupe Sanchez. His great - grandchildren, Lexi Michaud, Makayla Foster, Kaylin Doiron, Camron, Jaydinn, Madisyn, Joey Roman, Haylee Coon, Izick Lines, Alaysia Lines, Steffan Lines, Micheal Barnes, Wyatt Barnes, and Brooke Stobaugh. Harland had several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Stobaugh will be interred with full military honors for his service in the Korean War where he received the purple heart as well as more medals he was awarded.
Graveside services will be on Thursday, August 17, 2017 at 1:00 pm in Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield, MO with full military honors.
