Obituary for Susann Marie Mendenhall (Johnson)
Susann M. Mendenhall of Springfield, Missouri, passed away July 24, 2017, 7:00pm, at Maranatha Village Care Center in Springfield, Missouri.
She was born in Davenport, Iowa on February 18, 1942 to Lowell and Katherine Johnson. She attended Davenport schools through 12th grade, graduating in 1960. Susann met her husband, David, and they were married July 2, 1960. She did secretarial work and was a good wife, mother, and homemaker. She worked at Cox Health Centers as a registration clerk for 16 years, and was very active in church ministries as well.
She is survived by her husband, David, and three children; Philip, Carole and Paul, also Steve Johnson and his wife of Illinois. Also surviving are 13 grandchildren and 8 great great-grandchildren, nearly all of Springfield, Missouri.
Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00pm on Thursday, July 27, 2017, at Greenlawn Funeral Home North. Funeral services will be on Friday, July 28, 2017, 1:00pm, also at Greenlawn Funeral Home North.
