Obituary for Dorothy Yost
Dorothy Yost, 95, Springfield, Missouri departed this life Saturday, June 17, 2017 at Glendale Gardens in Springfield, Missouri.
She was born December 19, 1921 at Alton, Illinois to Walter and Teresa (Fahrig) Lindley.
Dorothy enjoyed fishing, ballroom dancing and painting. She loved and cherished her family.
Survivors include her daughter, Paula Galligos and husband Robert of Springfield, Missouri two grandsons, Scott Galligos and wife Julie of Springfield, Missouri, Tim Galligos and wife Kelly of Ft. Wayne, Indiana and her six grandchildren, Anna, Ben, Colton, Katie, Abby and Isabelle.
She was preceded in death by her parents her beloved husband Frank and one daughter, Vivian.
Services will be held at 4:30 PM Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at Greenlawn Funeral Home East with visitation following until 6:00 PM with Reverend Fergus Monaghan officiating.
Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Alton, Illinois.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Greenlawn Funeral Home East, 3540 E. Seminole, Springfield, Missouri.
