Marvin Dewayne  Wessel
Mr. Marvin Dewayne Wessel, age 87 of Bolivar, MO, passed away Sunday, June 11, 2017, in his home. He was born May 6, 1930, in Livonia, MO, to Ernest Lemont and Ethel Marie (Mullins) Wessel. He is a US Army WWII and Air Force Korean war veteran. He was a retail appliance salesman by trade. He was united in marriage to Anna Lee Rummel February 28, 1991. Marvin is a life member of the D.A.V #2 Kansas City, MO, and the American Legion #276 Humansville, MO.
He is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers: Jack and Omer Wessel; and one sister Mae Treim.
He is survived by his wife of 26 years Anna Wessel of the home; one sister Faye Murray and husband Bob of Columbus, OH; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
According to Marvin’s wishes his body will be cremated. Graveside inurnment will take place at a later date at the Unionville Cemetery Unionville, MO. Online condolences may be made at: www.greenlawnfuneralhome.com. Arrangements have been entrusted to Pitts Chapel Bolivar, MO.
