Obituary for Nancy Lou Jarvis (Self)
Nancy Lou Jarvis, 74, Springfield, Mo. passed away on May 12, 2017, in her home after a long illness. She was born on October 24, 1942, in Calvin, Oklahoma, to Ray and Myrtle (Keithley) Self. A homemaker, Nancy enjoyed quilting, sewing and cooking. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Johnnie O.C. Jarvis, and her daughter, Patricia Louise Jarvis.
Nancy, who was the last of eleven children, is survived by her two daughters: Priscilla Clark and her husband Thomas, and Armeldia Brimer and her husband Robert, four sons: James Jarvis, William Jarvis, Johnnie Jarvis and John Self. She is also survived by her eighteen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 17, 2017, in Greenlawn Funeral Home North, with burial to follow, in Pleasant Hope cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home.
