Deborah May Booth Vawter was born in Imboden, Arkansas on Flag Day – June 14th, 1953 to Kirby Edwin Booth and Betty Maxine Trotter Booth and was healed of cancer by her Lord and Savior on April 4, 2017 after a two – year journey.
Debbie is proceeded in death by her parents Kirby E. Booth and Betty Trotter Bettis; her brother Kirby “Skip” Booth, a nephew, Donald Lyons, a step-father, Clyde Bettis, a step-brother, Kenny Bettis and his wife Joyce, Father-in-love William Vawter, a special brother-in-love Mark Vawter, her grandparents, several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Debbie is survived by her husband Keith Vawter of Ozark Missouri, their daughter Bonnie Vawter and granddaughter Meagan Vawter of Clever, Missouri ; her sister Betty Lynn Booth McGowan and husband Steve of Jonesboro, Arkansas, their sons Romin McGowan and Larry Lyons of Arkansas; nephews Justin Cotter and his wife Jenea of Ash Flat, Arkansas, Cody Cotter and his wife Donia of Williford, Arkansas; Tyler Booth and wife Jessica of Cave City, Arkansas, great nieces and nephews, and wonderful cousins.
Debbie is also survived by Mother- in- love Alene Vawter of Sullivan, Missouri; Brothers-in-love Lindell and wife Bonnie of Leslie, Missouri; Harold Vawter of Sullivan, Missouri; Michael and wife Judy Vawter of Taft, Tennessee; sister-in-love Debbie Anderson and husband Jim of Stanton, Missouri; brother-in-love Kenny Vawter and wife Joann of Houston, Missouri; several special nephews, nieces, great nephews and nieces, cousins, best friends Bev and husband Bill Utnage of Lampe, Missouri; Cheryl and Joel Sapp of Wichita, Kansas, Sherry Ray of Lampe, Missouri, a whole host of church Family, sisters in Christ, and close friends.
A memorial service is being held for Debbie on Saturday, April 8th at 2:00 pm at North Nixa Baptist Church in Nixa, Missouri. A Celebration Reception will be held immediately following in the Family Life Center with refreshments and fellowship. The family asks that you dress to celebrate, not to mourn, that you bring any photos to share with everyone at the reception of you and Mrs. Debbie together celebrating life. A graveside service will be on Sunday, April 9th at 4:00 pm at Liberty Hill Cemetery in Ash Flat, Arkansas.
