Mrs. Dean Zimbelman was born on April 27, 1938 in Maben, West Virginia to Fred and Martha (Irick) Walker. She passed away peacefully at her home May 27, 2016 in Nixa, Missouri.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Ronald Zimbelman after thirty seven years of marriage.
Survivors include two daughters Debbie (Larry) Burns and Susan (Tom) Dunst and one son Kent Hubert, four grandchildren, Jeremy Haney, Justin Burns, Kyler and Kolten Hubert, six great grandchildren, Zachary Haney, Nathaniel Haney, Jillian Burns, Jude Burns, Kayleigh Johnson and Kaden Hubert and a host of family and friends.
Dean worked for the Air National Guard as a Technical Order Specialist and previously worked in accounting for several hotels, but was most recently a homemaker. She loved to flower garden.
Dean was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church where she was a greeter before her illness.
Services will be held at 1:30 PM Tuesday, May 31, 2016 in Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 460 W. Aldersgate Dr., Nixa, MO 65714 with visitation held from 12:30 to 1:30 PM prior to the service. Burial will follow in Missouri Veterans Cemetery under the care and direction of Greenlawn Funeral Home East. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Aldersgate United Methodist Church Building Fund.
